Responsibilities of counter staff and food preparation team members include but are not limited to:

Qualifications and Skills:

As a food prep and catering team member, you play a key role in preparing baked goods, salads, cream cheese, catering platters, sandwiches, beverages, and other fresh food items.

Qualifications:

• Relevant food experience is required for this position
• Ability to work a schedule that can include weekends
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely, including knives and small kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and complete food preparation tasks properly

Main Tasks include –

• Preparing simple or pre-prepared foods and beverages, such as sandwiches, salads, baked items, and drinks for the bakery, catering orders, and carry-out orders
• Washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing foods for cooking and preparation
• Operating large-volume single-process cooking equipment, such as convection ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment
• Preparing food and cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
• Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
• Verifying that prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements

This position is for kitchen cleaning and deep cleaning of internal bakery areas and equipment. You must be able to perform a variety of cleaning duties with care and consistency. Your job will be to complete repeated cleaning tasks with excellence in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Kitchen Cleaning Duties Include

• Floor cleaning and scrubbing
• Cleaning internal walls and ceilings
• Pressure washing external building areas and internal equipment
• Managing and leading deep clean projects
• Keeping external areas clean
• Cleaning the kitchen, restrooms, back loading and unloading area, and entrance areas
• Following all health and safety regulations related to cleaning
• Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and cleaning equipment as required
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, surface areas, and under tables to make sure the kitchen is ready for operations
• Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Completing other duties as assigned

Schedule: 4-hour shift. Schedule is negotiable.
Potential Hours: Afternoon shift, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
